Interviewer: Sergey, for readers who are new to A1 SolarStore, how do you introduce the company today? 
Sergey Fedorov: We’re a niche marketplace for energy solutions. We started in solar—panels, inverters, batteries—but we’ve grown into a platform where homeowners, contractors, and suppliers connect around complete energy systems. Think off-grid setups, backup power, roofing components, even HVAC add-ons like air conditioners and generators—all in one place.  

Interviewer: You mentioned you began with solar. What changed? 
Sergey: The market—and our customers—pushed us to think bigger. Solar hardware was our foundation, but people wanted comfort and resilience: cooling, reliable roofs, storage, backup. So we expanded our catalog and services to cover the whole stack of home energy and comfort, not just panels. 

Interviewer: What makes A1 SolarStore a “niche marketplace” versus a traditional distributor or a general e-commerce site? 
Sergey: Focus and enablement. We curate energy products and make them easy to buy, integrate, and support. On the partner side, we offer straight-line pricing—no listing charges or hidden advertising fees—simple catalog uploads via spreadsheet/API/manual, built-in marketing boosts, and a dedicated account manager. It’s a marketplace built specifically for energy brands and pros.  

Interviewer: Where does off-grid fit into your vision? 
Sergey: Front and center. A lot of customers want independence: cabins, barns, ADUs, or just better outage resilience. We help them compose full off-grid systems—panels, hybrid inverters, batteries, controllers—and the related comfort tech.  

Interviewer: Beyond product, how do you help homeowners actually get projects done? 
Sergey: Our Contractor Program matches homeowners with vetted contractors. Homeowners can request help for solar installation and related work; contractors get free leads for services like roofing, EV charging, energy storage, and more. It bridges that last mile between “I bought it” and “it’s working on my roof.”  

Interviewer: And for professionals—manufacturers, distributors, brokers, solo sellers—why join?

Interviewer: What does growth look like on the logistics side?

Interviewer: Tell us a bit about the founding story and your role. 
Sergey: Alexey Kruglov and I founded A1 SolarStore in 2017 to make clean energy simpler and more accessible. I serve as co-founder and CTO, focusing on the product and marketplace experience that connects buyers, sellers, and contractors.  

Interviewer: What’s next on your roadmap? 
Sergey: More categories, deeper inventory, and smarter tooling for both sides of the marketplace. For sellers, richer analytics and promotional levers. For homeowners, clearer system-building flows for off-grid and hybrid installs.
