Changes in the organizations are necessary for positive growth. Basically all organisations thrive for profits and high growth. In order to achieve this, they have to adapt to new processes, technologies from time to time. Now, the question is not about designing a product, more than that, constantly modifying it for betterment. Only this gives the competitive advantage in a highly competitive business environment. Engineering change management allows the companies to make changes to their process in a structured way. 

Change management enables the organizations to control changes. For this, a lot of planning is required. A list of necessary steps to take, resources required, timeliness for every action are to be decided upfront right before implementing the changes.

Understanding, reviewing, recording etc basic things apply to change management as well. The process has to be done in an organised way and not haphazardly to adapt to changes effectively.

Also, making the people aware and fully informed about the changes proposed to implement will boost their morale. Stakeholders involved will cooperate well so that the transition can take place smoothly. Misinformation will create a lot of chaos among the stakeholders and can defeat the very purpose of proposed changes in the organization. 

Another aspect of change management is the assessment of the impact of changes. The impact of change on the other parts of processes or products must be assessed for further necessary actions.

Employees training is another important aspect which decided the success of proposed changes as they are the change vehicles sho carry forward the companies change plans at the grassroot level. 

Further, identifying the obstacles to change and then coming up with a strategy is crucial. Risk assessment and ways to deal with the potential risks can minimise the roadblocks and smoothen the process. One obvious roadblock is definitely resistance. For any change, resistance is the obvious reaction. With necessary support, organizations can  proactively tackle this issue.

Organizations must consider all the relevant aspects and continuously monitor and review the process. This can help as course correction. 

Choosing a good professional will help. The first reason being that they are professionals who know the latest technologies and trends being used in developing these apps. Though having some amount of technical knowledge you think that you can develop an app, but there is a lot more about saving the data, using servers and space etc. which only the professionals know.
