The Roots of a Modern Engineer
Gregory spent an incredible 20 years and 3 months with Parsons Brinckerhoff, a period that fundamentally shaped his worldview. He started at the ground level of management, serving as the Newark Area Manager from October 1994 to December 1997, a span of 3 years and 3 months. He then crossed the river to become the New York Area Manager from January 1998 to February 2003, navigating 5 years and 2 months in the most demanding infrastructure landscape on earth.
His competence was undeniable, leading to his role as Metro District Manager from March 2003 to March 2006. For 2 years and 5 months following that, ending in August 2008, he served as the Northeast General Manager. He had learned the granular details of local transit and civil works, but his scope was destined to widen.
In August 2008, he became the President of Transportation. For 3 years and 10 months, he managed a massive business unit generating close to $1 billion in annual revenue, guiding 4,000 employees across 70 offices throughout the United States. He handled everything from highways and aviation to ports and marine operations.
His final act at Parsons Brinckerhoff was monumental. From June 2012 to December 2014, he served as the Global Chief Operating Officer. For 2 years and 7 months, he held responsibility for 170 offices and nearly 14,000 employees spread across five distinct continents, acting as the executive in charge of some of the largest infrastructure assignments on the globe.
A Continental Footprint
In January 2015, Gregory carried his immense talent to WSP USA in the New York City Metropolitan Area. As President and CEO, he spent 4 years and 9 months leading an organization of approximately 10,000 employees.
He guided a team of outstanding engineers and planners located in over 100 offices nationwide, brilliantly generating $2 billion in annual revenue across transportation, buildings, energy, water, and environment markets. He also sat on the global leadership team, directing policy for 50,000 employees in 40 countries.
Following his remarkable tenure at WSP, he stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer for Heritage Construction & Materials, part of The Heritage Group, in Greater Indianapolis. From October 2019 to October 2020, a period of 1 year and 1 month, he oversaw the operations and growth of asphalt products, aggregate supply, and roadbuilding construction. He was mastering the very materials that make up the roads he had spent his life planning.

In October 2020, Gregory found his current home as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at STV in New York. Over the past 6 years, he has had the profound privilege of leading an award winning professional services firm. STV provides elite engineering, architectural, planning, environmental, and construction management services throughout the United States and Canada.
Under his watchful eye, STV consistently ranks as one of the top firms in crucial markets, including education, corrections, highways, bridges, rail, and mass transit. They tackle everything from small, vital community jobs to the highest profile mega projects in the nation.
As a leader, Gregory is a unifier. He is explicitly responsible for guiding the firm toward achieving its short and long term strategic goals, placing a heavy emphasis on performance, business development, technology, and human capital. He guides and motivates his teams to cross borders, share technical expertise, and harness bold innovation to solve the most breathtakingly complex challenges their clients can dream up.
